Maine-based Atlantic Great Dane is under new ownership with a familiar face.
President Gene Masteller acquired the company after serving Atlantic Great Dane for more than 30 years. He began his career with Atlantic Great Dane in 1990 as a shop hand, working his way through parts and sales, later being named VP of the company in 2017, and president in 2020.
Two years later, Masteller says he is honored to take ownership of the company where he has served a loyal customer base for many years.
“I’m very passionate about what I do and take great pride to have been an integral part of where Atlantic Great Dane is today and look forward to providing the same level of service that customers have come to expect from our dealership,” Masteller said. “I’m proud to have maintained all the employees through the transition and look forward to growing and offering other opportunities to current and future employees. Lastly, I’d like to thank Scott Lamb for his mentorship over the years and providing me the opportunity to achieve the American Dream."
