First Tuk-A-Way GPT liftgates roll off Maxon’s Monterrey assembly line
Maxon’s first 150 Tuk-A-Way GPT liftgates have rolled off the assembly line at the newly built Monterrey manufacturing plant, the company reported. Production for the GPT line is now in full swing and units have started to ship.
“As demand continues to grow in the marketplace, so will our production capabilities,” said Brent Stratton, member of the Office of the President. “This is just the beginning of how we plan to ramp up our liftgate production to revolutionize the liftgate industry in the North American market.”
The company strategic investment “is coming to fruition,” added Casey Lugash, member of the Office of the President.
“After more than two years of strategic planning and construction, we’re excited to see things coming together and this first shipment of liftgates encompasses everyone’s hard work and dedication,” he said.
Meanwhile, installation of infrastructure and production lines continue.
“We’ve strategically planned the rollout for each product line, with a full across-the-board integration projected for end of 2023,” said Maxine Lugash Stratton, the final member of the Office of the President.
Maxon will mark the milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the coming months.
