Winter Equipment has released a video about the key features of its WinterFlex Rubber Blades, a high-quality, belted, three-ply rubber designed to eliminate waste and with “unmatched” strength.
In the new video, Winter Equipment’s director of sales and marketing, Nate Kallay, unboxes and informs users about WinterFlex and its features. The video provides in-depth details about the design of the blades.
The unique, reversible design of WinterFlex rubber cutting edges provides two positive wear edges for extending blade usage, which reduces material waste, according to the company. The flat cutting-edge design eliminates the need for the blade to “relax” for better performance.
“Our WinterFlex Rubber Blades provide durability and help to maximize efficiency out in the field,” said Kent Winter, founder and CEO of Winter Equipment. “Our rubber blades are designed to alleviate the hassle of maintaining and servicing compared to traditional rubber blades.”
WinterFlex rubber cutting-edge material features three layers of styrene-butadiene rubber, vulcanized with two layers of high-performance synthetic fabric sheets for extended wear, strength and durability. The material is available in 1 ½" thick and either 8" or 10" wide and 1" thick in 6" wide.
Rubber cutting edges are available in full length or sectional length options ranging from 5' to 9' for easy installation. The lengths can be punched or slotted, if required, to fit a variety of equipment and to provide simple adjustments.
Winter Equipment’s WinterFlex Rubber Blade can be used on sectional plows and is ideal for concrete, chip-seal and asphalt on highways, parking lots, rural and city applications, the company suggested.
