Big Tex recently added a new model to its flatbed gooseneck category—the all-new 16GN super-duty single-wheel gooseneck.
The Mount Pleasant TX-based trailer manufacturer said the 16GN fulfills customer needs by adding cargo capacity and overall strength, without the need for dual-wheel axles.
“The 16GN makes it easier for our customers to haul heavy loads without the potential barriers that can come with dual-wheel axles,” said Johnathan Bradley, Big Tex Trailers vice president of sales.
The 16GN combines premium Big Tex features, including a low-profile, pierced-beam frame design; dual 12,000-pound drop-leg jacks; an integrated toolbox and Dexter axles. The trailer also is available with MEGA ramps for added versatility and ease of loading, Big Tex said.
The 16GN, with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 17,500 pounds, is designed for all types of cargo, Big Tex said, including hay or tractors, or over-the-road hotshot applications. Additional standard features include an adjustable pipe coupler, side bed steps and handles, heavy-duty rub rail, side stake pockets, E-Z Lube hubs, Nev-R-Adjust brakes, an LED lighting package, sealed modular wiring harness, radial tires, and a 5-foot Dovetail with 5-foot double-hinged spring-assist flip-over ramps.
“We’re pleased to expand our offerings with this high-capacity gooseneck model,” Bradley said. “The 16GN packs major punch for an exceptional value.”
