THE TTMA Engineering Committee dealt with a variety of issues during this year's convention, including held a successful meeting on Thursday afternoon.
Agenda items involved Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board regulations, questions regarding reefer ratings, and out-of-service criteria for cross-members.
The committee also considered new publications to be written and new ideas for the committee.
The meeting, led by Chairman John Pierce with East Manufacturing, was attended by trailer manufacturer engineers as well as associate members.
The committee meets several times annually. The summer meeting will be in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, in July. It will be hosted by Truck-Lite Company, a TTMA associate member.
