US Tarp, a manufacturer of load containment and cargo protection tarping systems, recently introduced welded tarps.
The new tarps are manufactured with precise heat, speed and pressure to produce a consistent, straight and durable side hem, the company said. Welded tarps are available for all applications, including construction and landscape, recycling and refuse, and agriculture and specialty. The addition of welded tarps to the company’s covering and containment products will help decrease lead times and allow it to better meet distributor needs, US Tarp maintained
The company also said it recently added a state-of-the-art tarp welding machine at its main location in South Haven MI, allowing it to prioritize customers so they’re back on the road as quickly as possible. Beginning in the second quarter of 2020, all standard front-to-back tarps in standard widths and materials will be produced with vinyl-reinforced welded seams along the length of the tarp.
US Tarp will continue to offer all tarp materials in the heavy-duty style with seatbelt-webbing seams to those who prefer them.
