Fleetrite celebrates 50 years with 6 new parts locations

Fleetrite Parts, Navistar’s aftermarket truck and bus parts brand, recently opened six new retail locations in conjunction with its milestone 50th anniversary.

Navistar said five of the new stores are in North America, and the first Fleetrite store in Latin America is in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The new US locations are in Henderson NV, Clearwater FL, Brooksville FL, Alamogordo NM and Hobbs NM.

“We are committed to steadily increasing our market footprint by building standalone Fleetrite retail locations to allow dealers to address underserved markets, reach new customers and enhance relationships with existing customers,” said Mark Reiter, vice president of global product support for Navistar.

Fleetrite offers more than 80 different lines and 15,000 parts at 700 locations nationwide, including International and IC Bus dealerships. As part of Navistar’s ‘Aftersales Vision 2025’ strategy to become the premier solutions provider and OEM of choice for trucking customers across North America, several International dealers opened the new parts-only stories to better serve customers, Navistar said.

The company supported the expansion by working with dealers to determine the most ideal locations for the stores. Using heatmaps, data was collected in market areas that had been overlooked in parts sales and the new stores were opened to better serve these areas. And Navistar said it plans to open five to 10 additional parts-only locations in the coming months.

“With a keen interest in being easier to do business with, we’ll continue to open more parts-only locations to fill parts shortage gaps around the country in an effort to increase customer efficiency and productivity,” said Josef Kory, senior vice president for parts.
