Kinedyne Canada Limited recently was awarded WBE certification from the Women’s Business Enterprises Canada Council (WBE Canada).
Kinedyne Canada Limited joins its Women’s Business Enterprises National Council (WBENC)-certified sister company, Kinedyne, as a certified Women’s Business Enterprises. Kinedyne Canada was awarded the WBE certification based on the ownership, control and operation of Kinedyne and its parent company, The Heico Companies, by Emily Heisley Stoeckel.
“We are thrilled to receive this WBE Certification,” Stoeckel said. “This certification will allow us to become a better partner to many of our customers by helping them to meet their supplier diversity requirements.”
Similar to the WBENC, WBE Canada follows a comprehensive certification process of verifying applicant companies are at least 51% female-owned, and female-operated and controlled. Founded by corporations to provide certification services for their supplier diversity programs, WBE Canada certifies WBEs who provide products or services to corporations and government organizations.
By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.
“The WBE certification aligns with our corporate culture that promotes diversity and equal opportunities at Kinedyne,” said Dan Schlotterbeck, president of Kinedyne. “We are committed to workplace diversity in all aspects of our operations and seek to work with like-minded business partners. We’re proud to be a WBE-certified company and support the mission of the organization.”
