Cummins Filtration (NYSE:CMI), announced today that it will host a series of webinars on Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) on May 7.
The purpose of the webinars is to provide customers with in-depth practical information on DEF usage in 2010 Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems. Topics include 2010 emission regulations, how DEF works in SCR systems, recommended practices for use and handling, availability, and packaging options.
“With SCR being the leading technology to gain compliance with EPA 2010 diesel emissions standards, it is essential that we help our customers understand SCR and DEF and how it impacts their business,” said KC Hall, Director of Diesel Exhaust Fluid Business Development. “In addition to expanding our DEF product offering and availability to meet varying customer needs, we have made it a priority to increase awareness around SCR and DEF.”
Cummins Filtration offers several other tools for aiding customers including a detailed product brochure, a self-guided training module, and a usage calculator, all available on the Cummins Filtration website, cumminsfiltration.com. The online usage calculator allows information to be keyed in, such as fleet size and miles driven, to calculate their annual DEF consumption and estimated DEF fill-ups per year.
Cummins Filtration is an established supplier of DEF, the urea based solution necessary for SCR system functionality. Cummins Filtration currently offers DEF in various packaging options, including bulk, 330-gallon plastic totes, 275-gallon disposable totes and 55-gallon plastic drums.
