The Trailer Show returns to Nashville

NATDA’s award-winning annual event features training, a sold-out show floor, and product awards

The NATDA Trailer Show has been added to Trade Show Executive’s prestigious Gold 100 list of top trade shows of 2022, the light and medium-duty trailer dealers organization reported.

“This is an exciting honor for our team as it recognizes the hard work put into our record-breaking 2022 show,” NATDA Executive Director Andria Gibbon, CEM, said. “Being named to the Gold 100 puts the NATDA Trailer Show in league with such iconic shows such as SEMA and CES, fueling us to continue to build on our 15-year heritage of creating an event the elevates the light-to medium-duty trailer industry.”

The 2023 NATDA Trailer Show, located at Nashville’s Music City Center, kicks off August 29 with dealer training ahead of the show, which runs August 30-31.

Additionally, NATDA is celebrating 15 years of supporting the trailer industry. This year’s event will mark the anniversary with some new additions, including pre-show tailored events, special presentations on the new Dealer Lounge Stage and on the PJ Trailers stage, games and prizes, and much more, the organizers promise.

One of the most sought-after shows in the trailer industry, the NATDA Trailer Show, formerly the NATDA Trade Show & Convention, has become the one-stop-shop for light- and medium-duty trailer industry professionals for over a decade. Trailer categories include ATV, boat, car hauler, cargo, concession, dump, enclosed, fifth wheel, flatbed, gooseneck, heavy equipment, heavy utility, horse, livestock, living quarter, motorsports, overland, race, RV/toy hauler, snowmobile, tilt, towable RV, truck bed and utility are all represented.

The Trailer Parts Expo Lounge, the new hub for the Trailer Parts Expo, will host the return of Women in the Trailer Industry and Full Send podcasts (produced by The Trailer Parts Outlet), which will be recording live interviews with dealers, exhibitors and more throughout the show.

This year’s exhibition hall is sold out and will feature more than 80 trailer and truck bed manufacturers and more than 180 vendors, including parts and accessories suppliers, financial and marketing services, and more.

The highly anticipated Product Awards will be presented Thursday at the PJ Trailers Stage at 3:30 pm.

Best New Product of the Year/New Product Display: Every year, the New Product Display is the most-visited portion of the show for dealers looking to find the trailer industry’s latest offerings. This year, New Products will be on display in the main lobby outside of the exhibit halls.

Most Innovative Trailer and Truck Bed Awards: Now in it its second year, NATDA Most Innovation New Trailer and Truck Bed Awards recognize manufacturing innovation across the seven categories, including cargo / concession; heavy duty; livestock; recreational; truck bed or service body (Flat Bed, Stake Body, Service Body, Specialty Body, etc.); utility; and vehicle trailer.

Additionally, each year NATDA picks a charity to support. For 2023, NATDA is partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville.

To encourage donations to the selected charity, NATDA has brought back the Ultimate Prize Package to the NATDA Trailer Show. The package consists of a Kymco UXV 450i Platform, an Aluma aluminum trailer, a TecNiq light kit, a GeoForce GPS Asset Tracker, Snappin’Turtle Tie Downs and more. Dealers can enter the raffle by donating to the charity during registration or via NATDA’s fundraising page.
