Galion-Godwin Truck Body Co announced that as of June 2012, all steel dump bodies manufactured at its Winesburg OH facility will have a thermoset powdercoat zinc primer as standard equipment under the already-standard black thermoset powdercoat paint topcoat.

The already-standard powdercoat topcoat has been lab- and field-tested to be 200% more corrosive-resistant than industry standard paint process. Lab and field results have proven that the addition of the powdercoat zinc primer under the powdercoat topcoat creates a corrosive-resistant barrier that is 700% more resistant than industry standard paint process.
