Truck equipment distributors attending The Work Truck Show® 2012 have the opportunity to learn how to improve their businesses through Lean principles. NTEA, the Association for the Work Truck Industry, is offering a Special Session, “How Truck Equipment Distributors and Small Manufacturers Can Deploy Lean Principles to Maximize Productivity,” on Monday, March 5. The session covers techniques and take-aways for effectively implementing Lean concepts.

The Work Truck Show 2012, North America’s largest work truck event, is held at the Indiana Convention Center (Indianapolis, IN), March 6-8, 2012. Educational programming begins March 5. Registration is now open at www.ntea.com.

With the understanding that companies are constantly under pressure to improve operational performance and reduce costs, the Lean Principles Special Session reveals eight specific wastes that Lean targets and several common countermeasures that can be implemented for significant productivity gains.. The session is led by Mark Sessumes, lean product manager, TMAC (Fort Worth, TX). He has 30 years of progressive operations management experience in diverse manufacturing and production environments.

This special session takes place on March 5 from 9:00am-12:00pm. A ticket is required.
