Greenkraft Inc recently tripled the size of its facility. The company plans to assemble alternatively fueled trucks in this 150,000-sq-ft location in Santa Ana CA.
The GM Vortec gasoline engine—either the 6.0-liter or 8.0-liter V8, is the standard Greenkraft power plant. The company converts them to run on propane or compressed natural gas.
The cab is imported from China as a shell. Greenkraft instruments, dash, and trim that are made domestically to the company’s specifications.
Greenkraft cabover chassis are sold to municipal and private fleets.
