Freightliner Custom Chassis delivered the first field-test unit of its propane-autogas S2G work truck as the product enters the final phase before the start of production later this year.

Freightliner Custom Chassis delivered the S2G unit to representatives from Amerigas at the headquarters of project partner Powertrain Integration in Madison Heights, MI.

Amerigas is among a select group of S2G customers chosen for the field test, which will put the first 25 S2G units through an extended, rigorous delivery regimen. FCCC expects start of full production of the S2G to begin by the end of June.
