Wescon Products Co has introduced three new remote valve controls (RVCs) used to actuate valves on heavy-duty and off-road vehicles.

Two of the units are made of high-strength, composite materials, born of the aircraft industry. In durability tests, these units exceeded one million cycles of operation with 100 pounds input load, with no appreciable wear on components.

The new design of these composite units allows for field conversion of the levers to a standard (straight) or a 70° angled position. This allows operators to configure the lever in the position that best suits them. The new die-cast model features larger bushings, and a more streamlined design, translating into more stability, stronger pivot points, as well as doubling the life of the control. The finish on this unit has also been enhanced.

All three units offer the choice of long or short handles, plus a center locking control that helps operators comply with OSHA standards when applicable. For more information, contact Wescon, Box 7710, Wichita KS 67277.
