Wastequip adds location in St. Louis

Wastequip Inc. has acquired 5 Star Consolidated, a manufacturer of roll-off containers and scrap trailers for the waste hauling and scrap industries, and renamed it Wastequip St. Louis.

Wastequip Inc. has acquired 5 Star Consolidated, a manufacturer of roll-off containers and scrap trailers for the waste hauling and scrap industries, and renamed it Wastequip St. Louis.

5 Star’s former management, headed by general manager Kevin Lolling, will continue to lead the company in East St. Louis.

Wastequip Inc. manufactures a diverse line of waste handling, recycling, and material handling equipment and operates 25 manufacturing facilities throughout North America in addition to a nationwide service and distributor network.

“We welcome the former 5 Star Consolidated into the Wastequip family,” said Robert C. Rasmussen, president and chief executive officer of Wastequip Inc. “The quality of their products, their solid reputation, and strong customer base will be a valuable asset to both Wastequip and our customers.”
