Wabash National Corp and Terion Inc have signed a definitive agreement on a strategic alliance for remote trailer monitoring. Wabash will factory-install Terion's FleetView trailer monitoring system and provide sales, installation, and service through its nationwide distribution network.
The companies also have agreed to co-develop and market advanced trailer management systems through integration of FleetView with Wabash's Smart Trailer technology. FleetView provides trailer tracking, communications, and operational monitoring. Smart Trailer technology includes electronic control and monitoring.
The system the two companies will co-develop will be called REALView. It will be offered for OEM installation as well as on a retrofit basis.
