    Opel introduced at the RAI its newly redesigned Movano van that first appeared in 1999. The Movano chassis, which is rated up to 3.5 tonnes (7,700 lb) GVW, was fitted with a composite car carrier body by Tijhof. With a wheelbase of 4078 mm (160"), the Movano chassis carries a body 4900 mm (16 ft) long and 2100 mm (83 inches) wide. Maximum cargo capacity is 2000 kg (4,400 lb). Optional equipment includes a Ramsey RE 6000 electric winch. Tijhof Autotransportsystem, Bedrijvenpark Twente 140-142, 7602 KE Almelo, the Netherlands.
