Stoops Freightliner is providing the first Sprinter van model that can transport deeply frozen cargo at -20° F. This unit is ready for delivery to customers who transport fresh, lightly frozen, or deep-frozen products. Multi-temperature compartments, electric standby/shore power, heat capability, and shelving packages all are available.

Mark Fritcha, corporate sales manager for light-duty vehicles at Stoops, said, “The Glacier King -20° has exceeded our expectations for pulling down to temperature, holding -20° F on days of 90°-plus F ambient temperatures. We knew that if we met the -20° degree goal, we would exceed all fresh refrigerated and light frozen applications requirements and customer expectations.”

The product is fully differentiated from other temperature-controlled Sprinter vans.

Stoops Freightliner provides this vehicle solution with a load cell insulation package in concert with the Thermo King V520RT unit. The vehicle has been validated at 100° F to -20° F in the cargo compartment.

Stoops Freightliner-Quality Trailer has seven locations in both Indiana and Ohio.
