The Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA) plans to hold its upcoming training seminar April 21, 2007, in Cherry Hill NJ.
Titled “Protect Your Company From Liability,” the seminar will feature litigation attorney Darryl Beckman. Topics include contractual language, retention of subcontractors, documenting services, and steps to take if a lawsuit is filed against a company.
“Professional snow and ice management services usually focus on safety and risk management,” said Julie Seggi, training coordinator for SIMA. “Our upcoming training seminar will focus on the legal side of running this business — dealing with contracts in a manner that limits the exposure and risk to your company.”
