Schneider Logistics, Inc., a Schneider National operation, today announced offering its AccessCanada service by combining truckload, crossdock warehousing and LTL to expedite freight delivery into Canada without tying up shippers’ inventory in warehouses.

To reach shippers' destinations in Canada, freight is delivered from a distribution center, manufacturing facility or import warehouse in the U.S. to a crossdocking facility in Canada. There, freight is divided into smaller shipments for final delivery via LTL carriers. AccessCanada clients work with one carrier from start to finish.

“With AccessCanada, crossdocking work is done seamlessly so clients do not have to warehouse freight or worry about safety stock,” said John Ferguson, Canada gm for Schneider National. “AccessCanada provides U.S. exporters with a cost-effective integrated logistics solution from the point of origin to the customers' shelves in Canada.”
