The annual product safety seminar conducted by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) will be held April 16-18, 2007, at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel in Nashville TN.

This seminar provides an industrywide forum for off-road equipment manufacturing professionals to discuss product safety issues involved in design, manufacture, and use of their products. The conference theme is “Product Safety: Tune Up Your Program.” This seminar will feature general sessions and concurrent breakouts grouped into three education tracks: Essentials, Standards and Documentation, and Communications.

AEM also will conduct a one-day product liability program April 19, 2007, at the same location in Nashville. This seminar will focus on the value of pre-trial planning and preparation, with the premise that a successful defense starts long before an actual trial takes place.

The educational programming now offers CEU (Continuing Education Credits. Complete seminar details and registration information are posted online in the “education” section of the AEM web site at www.aem.org.
