ArvinMeritor's Commercial Vehicle Systems (CVS) Ride Control group has been named a preferred supplier by Paccar Inc, manufacturer of heavy-duty on- and off-road Class 6-8 trucks.
The company began supplying Paccar with shock absorbers, which are manufactured and distributed at Arvin Meritor's Toronto, Ontario, Canada, facility, in the early 1970s, beginning with Kenworth trucks. Currently, the company supplies ride control products for Kenworth, Kenmex, and Peterbilt vehicles in North America and Australia, as well as Leyland Trucks Inc in the United Kingdom and DAF in the Netherlands.
