The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) won three prestigious Diamond Awards at the Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE).

The Awards that recognize excellence and innovation in associations were awarded during the 6th Annual Diamond Awards Banquet, Sept. 13 at The Henry Ford’s Lovett Hall (Dearborn, MI).

“These honors distinguish the NTEA as one of the top-performing associations and bestow added importance since the awards are granted by our peer associations,” said Jim Carney, NTEA executive director. “Our members also benefit since excellence is always an added benefit.”

The winning categories were print newsletter, public relations and membership development.

The NTEA News has received the best association newsletter award on four separate occasions based on achievement of objectives; brevity and timeliness of content; effectiveness of writing, format and graphic design; and variety.

The public relations campaign for The Work Truck Show 2007 took top honors for its innovative approach based on creativity and effectiveness of program design, achievement of program objectives, clarity of communication message(s), use of multiple media channels, use of graphic elements and overall originality. The NTEA has also been honored previously for its public relations campaigns in support of its trade show.

The NTEA also received top honors for membership development, and was rewarded for excellence in recruiting and retention of members based on creativity of strategies employed, effectiveness of utilized tools and overall results as compared to program objectives.

Gold Honorable Mentions were awarded to the NTEA in the e-newsletter and meetings and exposition categories.
