A tail lift designed for the sprinter van industry has been introduced by Leyman Lift Gates. The Model LFS 900 brings the convenience and safety of liftgate technology to Sprinter vans.

This lightweight tail lift has a 900-lb capacity and measures 53" wide by 47" deep plus a 5" tapered ramp yet only weighs 265 pounds. The LFS 900 folds and stores inside the rear section of the Sprinter van.

Standard features include an aluminum platform, pump, and motor and hand-held remote control with spiral cord. A 9"-deep steel flip ramp is on the rear of the platform.

The LFS 900 also uses an easy-to-operate mechanical system. The tail lift is electrohydraulically operated; a standard vehicle 12-volt battery supplies the electric power.

Leyman has other tail lifts for the Sprinter van specification, the LCS 1650, which folds on the outside of the van. For additional information, contact Leyman, 10900 Kenwood Rd, Cincinnati OH 45242.
