Hutchens Industries' newly designed intermediate widespread hangers add another option to the Hutch 9700 product line of suspensions.
The new designs are fabricated versions of the firm's 16180-01 (straddle-mount) and 16181-01 (undermount) cast intermediate widespread hangers. They are designed for those who require a longer wheelbase to better distribute trailer weight, and to keep the gross trailer weight or weight of each individual axle within lawful limits.

Hutch fabricated intermediate widespread hangers offer a lower-cost option, with no weight penalty, for the firm's 54.5” through 81” widespread axle spacings.

The fabricated extension of the undermount hanger has a slightly different “footprint” than the cast version. Check to ensure that it will work for a particular application.
