Fibre Glast Developments Corp has a new guide to vacuum infusion technology and its various applications. The white paper, titled Vacuum Infusion — The Equipment and Process of Resin Infusion, details advances in technology that have made a traditional process more efficient and workable. As a hands-on complement to the guidebook, Fibre Glast has created a trial kit for test and practice of vacuum infusion technology.

The trial kit contains enough material to build three infusion trial projects up to 24" × 13" each and can be ordered from www.fibreglast.com. The company expects that after completing the three included “practice” laminates, customers will be familiar with EnkaFusion Nylon Matting, Lantor Soric, EnkaFusion Filter Jacket, and Divinymat Sandwich Core. By pairing practice projects with the white paper, Fibre Glast believes customers will be able to judge differences in resin travel and conformability in various applications.

The white paper can be downloaded free of charge at www.fibreglast.com/Brochure/vipbrochure.pdf.
