The board of directors of Dana Corp has named Michael J Burns chief executive officer, president, and a director of the company effective March 1, 2003.

The board of directors of Dana Corp has named Michael J Burns chief executive officer, president, and a director of the company effective March 1, 2003. Burns, who had been president of General Motors Europe since 1998, succeeds the late Joe Magliochetti, who died Sept 22, 2003. Glen Hiner, who has served as acting chairman of the Dana board since September 2003, will continue in this role. Bill Carroll, who has served as acting president and chief operating officer since September, will continue in these positions until March 1, when he will retire from Dana.

Terry Mennen is the new director of sales for vocational accounts at Hendrickson International, while Sean Coleman returned to the company sales organization as director of sales — OEM truck products. Mennen most recently was director of sales — truck products, and Coleman previously served with the Hendrickson Truck Suspension Systems marketing department as senior marketing manager.

Grote Industries has named Eric Morris to the newly created post of president and chief operating officer. He has been executive vice-president and head of corporate sales and marketing for the past three years. William D “Bill” Grote III will become chairman and chief executive officer.

Blaise Sincavage has been hired by Leyman Lift Gates to cover its mid-Atlantic sales region. He will be based at his home office in Coatesville PA. Sincavage formerly worked as a regional sales manager for Grumman Olson for three years.

Webb Wheel Products Inc has hired Thomas Robertson as vice-president/controller. He is relocating from Wisconsin, where he most recently served as vice-president of finance and business unit controller for ABB Automation Drives and Motors, a division of ABB Inc.
