Collins Associates Inc, parent company of Venco/Venturo Manufacturing, is enlarging its headquarters plant in Cincinnati by 30%, the company announced.
Construction is expected to be complete by the end of 2012.
“We’ve had a 20% growth in sales since the recession ended, and as a result, must increase our ability to maintain profitable and consistent growth,” said Brett Collins, president. “By bringing all of our product line manufacturing under one roof, we’ll have more efficient production, decreased lead times, lower costs and greater quality control. We’ll also have an increased capacity to absorb large fleet orders without disrupting ongoing distributor orders.”
The expanded area will be used for shipping and receiving, finished goods storage, inventory staging and future manufacturing space.
