Utility backs Wreaths Across America's mission to honor fallen veterans

Utility Trailer helped sponsor the holiday efforts of Wreaths Across America (WAA) by donating 1,000 wreaths for National Wreaths Across America Day.

WAA is a national non-profit whose mission is to remember fallen US veterans, honor those who serve and teach young individuals the value of freedom. Each December, donated wreaths are placed on gravesites at Arlington National Cemetery and 2,100 other locations across the country where wreath-laying ceremonies are conducted.

“We are proud to sponsor an organization that supports the dedicated individuals who have fought for our freedom,” said Steve Bennett, vice president of Utility. “This organization’s mission statement is in alignment with Utility’s beliefs in supporting the veterans’ community and the advocacy for American freedom.”

In partnership with the trailer manufacturer’s Midwest dealership, Craftsmen Utility Trailer, the donated wreaths were placed on the morning of Saturday, Dec 14 in Arlington. The escort to the cemetery began Dec 7 in Lubec ME.

The wreaths made the journey in a 2020 Utility 4000D-X Composite TBR dry van trailer Utility donated to the American Trucking Association’s Heroes Truck program in October.
