MaxiTRANS, an Austrailian parts supplier and trailer manufacturer, recently added Graham Thomson Motors (GTM) to its dealer network.
GTM will distribute the full MaxiTRANS range in Shepparton, Victoria, and surrounding areas, MaxiTRANS said.
“We are excited to continue to expand the MTC (Mildura Truck Centre) relationship with MaxiTRANS and add Graham Thomson Motors to the MaxiTRANS dealer network,” said Glenn Leake, MTC dealer principal.
“The extension of trailer sales to the existing parts, service and truck offering allows us to truly be a one-stop shop for our valued customers in the Shepparton region, giving us the added flexibility to offer an even wider range of transport solutions.”
Part of the MTC group, a longtime MaxiTRANS dealer, GTM established itself as a PACCAR dealer in the 1970s, MaxiTRANS said. Since being purchased by MTC, the business has continued to serve the Shepparton region and surrounding areas in Victoria.
GTM now will distribute the full range of MaxiTRANS trailer brands, including Freighter, Maxi-CUBE, Lusty EMS, Hamelex White, Trout River Australia, AZMEB and Peki.
MTC recently celebrated 65 years with MaxiTRANS in a partnership that includes dealerships in Mildura and Swan Hill, Victoria, and Broken Hill, New South Wales. MTC acquired GTM in 2011.
GTM boasts a 5-acre facility with 12 service bays and a number of dedicated in-house trailer technicians offering full truck and trailer service capability, MaxiTRANS said.
