Excel Truck Group, a full-service dealership for Freightliner Trucks, Western Star and Detroit, announced it will expand its Statesville, North Carolina, location to a seven-acre site with a 20,000-square-foot facility.
The new facility is located at 2221 International Drive, Statesville, N.C., at the intersection of I-40 and I-77.
“As the needs of our customers expand, so too must our dealership,” said Russ Ellett, president of Excel Truck Group. “We are excited to offer our customers better parts availability, quick and efficient service, and an overall better experience at our newly expanded location in Statesville.”
After opening the Statesville location on August 1, 2016, Excel Truck Group has invested approximately $250,000 in the renovation. After the renovations are compete, the expanded facility will house 3,000 square feet of office space, a parts showroom, a 4,000 square feet parts warehouse, and eight drive-through service bays.
Excel Truck Group was founded in 1981 and has grown to include seven locations in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
