EUFMC 2025 is on the agenda for a growing number of fleets, with more than 160 representatives who operate, manage, and maintain utility equipment already planning to attend the 72nd annual conference. Over 50 first-time attendees and four new companies have also registered for the industry’s premier educational and equipment event.
The third annual EUFMC Women in Utility Fleet gathering is driving up fleet attendance as well. With more than 40 registered attendees, the increasingly popular networking opportunity for women fleet professionals will also include women representatives from manufacturers and suppliers of services for utility fleets.
Education and equipment events
EUFMC 2025 will feature a new Equipment Show and Drive-Thru demonstration site with an enhanced exhibit layout. The Busch Gardens Scotland parking lot on Route 60 in Williamsburg also allows for the Equipment Show with more than 60 displays and the Drive-Thru to take place in one location. Lunch will be served on site.
Plans are in place for the 2025 EUFMC General Session educational program featuring presentations by fleet executives, manufacturers, and industry experts. On the Driving Safety, Sustainability & Technical Expertise lineup (subject to change) are:
- Keynote address: Natalia Saldarriaga, vice president, facilities and field services, shared services, discusses Consolidated Edison Company of New York’s transportation and building electrification plan.
- Safety leadership: Eric Kapitulik shares how to build Great Teams, building on his focus during the 2024 EUFMC on addressing breakdowns in fleet safety processes.
- EV Charging Advancements: Southern California Edison’s fleet electrification efforts.
- Quality assurance programs for fleets: Industry leaders discuss programs that improve preventive maintenance and reduce risk.
- Senior leadership alignment: Fleet professionals illustrate successful strategies for creating and maintaining connections with senior leadership.
- Advanced fuel sourcing and purchasing: Commonwealth Edison shares advanced fuel management strategies.
- Safety engaging cultures: Fleet professionals discuss how a leadership culture drives safety improvements.
- Procurement strategies for EPA 2027: How manufacturers are approaching emissions requirements and strategies for keeping fleets compliant.
- Artificial intelligence in fleet management: Industry experts discuss how current technology can help fleets.
- Rental strategies in difficult financial times: The perspectives of equipment rental vendors, a utility fleet, and a contractor.
- Roundtables: An EUFMC signature event that brings together fleet representatives and suppliers to discuss mutual challenges and find solutions.
Special events and activities
Mallory Weggemann, a four-time Paralympian swimmer for Team USA and the holder of multiple American and World records, will serve as the 2025 EUFMC Dinner Speaker. In her presentation— Grit, Resilience and Triumph Over Any Obstacle— Weggemann will emphasize resilience, the power of a positive mindset, and the importance of embracing one's uniqueness.
Special activities at EUFMC include the annual conference Golf Tournament, Colonial Williamsburg tours, and a Sunrise Guided Run/Walk. For spouses, EUFMC hosts a reception, and will hold a golf clinic, a culinary demonstration, a Yoga class, and a Spa and Service Break.
EUFMC will be held June 1 - June 4 at the Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center in Williamsburg, Virginia.
