Canadian manufacturer Magnum Trailer & Equipment recently added an aluminium-cutting router.

Magnum Trailer & Equipment, a Canadian manufacturer and service provider for the heavy-duty truck and trailer industry, recently added an aluminium-cutting router.

The company says the new tool reduces production time and, in turn, the cost of select Moose Bumpers, as well as accessories, including boxes, fenders and cab guards, and Magnum plans to pass the savings on to the customer “for a competitive edge in an ever-changing market.”

“Magnum has always put quality first, and with these new capabilities we are now able to offer very competitive pricing, along with superior engineering,” said David McLucas, vice president of truck accessories for Magnum.

In addition to cost savings, the new machinery improves Magnum’s control over its production schedule and enhances product quality, the company maintained, and Magnum technicians received operator and engineer training with new software upgrades that support the company’s ongoing design innovation.

“This is the beginning of series of upgrades to streamline operational efficiencies to meet the growing needs of our customers,” McLucas said.
