Manus Products is celebrating two recent developments.
The company, which will mark its 60th anniversary next year, recently received Great Dane’s Small Supplier of the Year Award for the second consecutive year and broke ground on its third building at its Waconia MN campus.
Manus has developed, formulated and manufactured custom solutions for the adhesive, sealant, caulking, tape and coating needs of the trailer, transportation (road, rail and aerospace), construction and OEM industries since 1959.
It also won a Great Dane supplier award in 2013, making this year’s honor its third.
“Manus is honored to receive such an award,” the company said. “In addition to manufacturing high-quality products, customer service and satisfaction has been a hallmark of Manus’ ethos.”
The new building in Minnesota will provide additional space for growth, Manus said, including the capability for research and development, production and warehousing operations. Manus also has facilities in Chaska MN and Naples FL.
Manus launched the first hybrid polymer product (Manus-Bond 75-AM) in the US more than 20 years ago and continues to specialize in research and development of adhesives and sealants based on hybrid polymer technologies. Hybrids overcome many of the shortcomings of pure polyurethane or silicone systems.
Manus also manufactures Flex-Weld (a two-part, hybrid-polymer, high-strength epoxy), various self-leveling formulas and a wide range of butyl products, including tapes and gun-grade, and neoprene products.
