Powerbrace, a manufacturer of securement for swing doors headquartered in Kenosha WI, recently introduced the PlungeLOK Conversion Kit for retrofitting truck bodies and trailers with platforms or liftgates.
The new PlungeLOK is designed to provide greater leverage, less interference, less play and expanded flexibility and compatibility. The PlungeLOK handle is directly connected to the lockrod in a positive connection that reduces play, and it sits at a 90-degree angle during operation, providing maximum leverage for rotating the lockrod.
The PlungeLOK Conversion Kit allows users to convert existing 1-inch lockrods to PlungeLOKs. The kit comes ready for installation on trailers and truck bodies, and allows a swing door to be used with a platform or liftgate. Complete PlungeLOK lockrods also are available for new construction.
