Rumber recently introduced new cattle trailer flooring kits.
The composite materials manufacturer, which makes its boards and products from 100% recycled tire rubber and plastics, says the new kits make replacing a trailer’s old cattle flooring easier. They’re also designed to eliminate road chatter, resulting in calmer animals and safer transportation, the company said.
The kits are available for trailers of various sizes. Rumber’s livestock plank boards with 1-inch cross lug pattern measure 1¾ inches by 8 inches and handle 6.2 pounds per foot. Customized logos are available, the company added.

Depending on trailer length and the number of boards, easy-to-install, low-cost kits range from $750 to $22,500 per trailer.
