Dec. 4, 2020
The new facility provides capacity for manufacturing, customer support, engineering, sales and services and leadership functions across the company

Liftgate manufacturer WALTCO has recently relocated its Tallmadge, Ohio plant to Streetsboro, 35 miles south of Cleveland. The new 180,000 sq. ft. production space and 23-acre site was chosen to accommodate the rapid growth and expansion as part of the company’s long-term strategy.

The new building provides capacity for manufacturing, customer support, engineering, sales and services and leadership functions across the entity.

“Our new location and enhanced operational efficiencies will help us continue to grow and develop to keep pace with our customers’ needs,” Global Services Director Martin Saint says. “This also allows WALTCO to provide exceptional value and superior service. I am pleased that the relocation had no impact on our customers and delivery times, we could not have found a better location for our team.”

Improvements in material flow, internal logistics, efficiency, and safety allow the Hiab company brand to become “a true solutions provider and partner,” Director of End to End Supply Chain Jarno Yli-Junnila adds.
