Jerr-Dan has added Truck Source of Perry, Okla., as a distributor of its complete line of towing and recovery vehicles, the Oshkosh Corp. brand reports.
Jerr-Dan is the single brand leader in the towing and recovery industry with distributors across the United States and in six continents. Centrally located in Oklahoma, between Tulsa and Oklahoma City and with easy access to several interstate highways, Truck Source is a rapidly growing distributorship with deep roots in the Perry community.
“The operations at Truck Source are managed by a third-generation tower and the leadership epitomizes the loyalty and dedication to the Jerr-Dan brand that makes us so proud of our distributors,” said Hal Wyatt, director of aftermarket support at Jerr-Dan. “We are thankful for the opportunity to partner with Truck Source to continue the expansion of the Jerr-Dan brand into central Oklahoma.”
Truck Source was founded in 2020 as a DBA of Farm Source, a Perry-based upfitter of vehicles for the farming industry. Both companies operate under the umbrella of Ground Zero, a manufacturer of tornado shelters and Crownline truck beds. Truck Source Operations Manager Eldon Harding has been in the towing and recovery industry since he was a child and ran the family-owned tow business with his father until 2001.
“I’ve been buying Jerr-Dan trucks since 1997,” Harding said. “We’re looking forward to building the Jerr-Dan brand here in Oklahoma and throughout the Midwest.”
Truck Source will soon move into a new 67,000 square foot facility in Perry, where the company will upfit Jerr-Dan trucks and offer parts and service capabilities. A second Truck Source distributorship is planned for Oklahoma City early in 2021.
Jerr-Dan continues to place an emphasis on distributor network growth to provide customers with a high level of local support and today has over 60 locations throughout North America and 15 internationally.
