Messer Truck Equipment, which is based in Westbrook ME, recently opened a new shop in Columbus OH.
The new shop, operating as Messer Work Van Solutions (MWVS), will deliver the same devotion to the contractor and workforce as Messer Truck Equipment delivers to its customers, but with a twist, Messer said.
Everything at the MWVS facility will revolve around the van, and efficiency of operation.
“As we focus on the customer, and how to make their working lives easier and more efficient, increased productivity will be the natural by-product,” said Jeffrey Messer, principal owner and fourth-generation leader of The Messer Family of Businesses.
Ray Thombs, MWVS president, said he’s excited about the company’s Ohio expansion.
“Columbus is a lively city and has a lot of potential for future growth,” he said. “We can’t wait to partner with local businesses and see how we can assist them in growing.”
To help launch the shop, Jeff Messer and Thombs hired Columbus native Micah Zell as the branch manager of the new venture.
“Our goal at MWVS is to partner with our local community tradesmen and businesses,” Zell said. “We want to help transform their work van fleets into world-class service providers. As we partner to be world class together, then our entire professional community will grow and flourish as we all play our part.”
Messer Work Van Solutions is located on the west side of Columbus off Roberts Road, adjacent to I-270 on Westbelt Drive.
The shop is slated for a COVID-19-delayed grand opening celebration Aug 28.
