Peterbilt Motors Company benefited from its longstanding reputation as the aspirational truck of choice for many, if not most, American truckers as its booth was crowded with folks with high hopes.
On display were Peterbilt’s new Model 579 UltraLoft with the Blackout Exterior Package, a Model 567 Dump truck as well as an on-highway Model 567, a Model 389 low roof sleeper and a Model 389 high roof sleeper.
“Peterbilt remains the drivers’ truck of choice and the Mid-America Trucking Show is an ideal venue to showcase our best-in-class products to drivers and owner operators,” said Peterbilt Assistant General Manager for Sales and Marketing, Robert Woodall. “In addition to the superior styling and design of the trucks on display, Peterbilt is highlighting the PACCAR Powertrain, including the MX engines, tandem axles and the PACCAR transmission, all of which provide the power and performance to handle any job.”
The company also announced the expansion of its 90-Day Vehicle Assurance Warranty to cover all Peterbilt Red Oval Certified trucks.
The warranty, which is offered and administered through Peterbilt dealers and PACCAR Financial Used Truck Centers, ensures a consistent and industry-leading warranty experience for all purchasers of trucks in the Red Oval program, furthering the Peterbilt and Red Oval brands.
“Peterbilt believes that the best new trucks make the best used trucks, and because of that we are proud to stand behind the Peterbilt Red Oval Certified program with this 90-day buyer assurance program,” said Woodall. “Late in 2018 Peterbilt also announced a new warranty option for Red Oval used truck customers. Customers can now select a factory-backed two-year 250,000 mile warranty for PACCAR MX engines and aftertreatment systems. This is industry-leading protection and a prime example of why Peterbilt remains the industry’s truck of choice.”
Peterbilt Red Oval Certified vehicles must pass a comprehensive 150-point factory certified inspection performed by factory-trained service technicians. All Red Oval Certified trucks are re-conditioned and serviced, including DPF cleaning and an oil and filter change.
