Bollinger Motors made its first West Coast customer delivery of three 2025 Bollinger B4 Chassis Cabs to TEC Equipment dealerships on Oct. 30. With the West Coast spearheading the adoption of electric vehicles, Bollinger Motors believes the delivery of these trucks to the region is significant.
“The West Coast represents a critical region of the country for electric vehicle success, and today’s deliveries to TEC Equipment are significant steps forward for Bollinger Motors,” Jim Connelly, chief revenue officer for Bollinger Motors, said. “TEC Equipment is a well-respected dealer and an important partner for our West Coast success.”
The delivery took place just six weeks after production began on the all-electric Class 4 chassis on Sept. 16. This follows the Oct. 3 delivery of the first five Bollinger B4s, purchased by Nacarato Truck Centers in LaVergne, Tennessee.
TEC Equipment has made history as the first West Coast-based dealer to receive the B4. The dealerships that received the trucks are located in Lacey, Washington; Fontana, California; and Oakland, California.
"This is an exciting moment for TEC Equipment as we help bring the newest OEM in the trucking industry to market,” said Chris Thompson, TEC Equipment's vice president of truck sales.
The total retail value of the three Bollinger B4s delivered to TEC Equipment dealerships is nearly $500,000. The 2025 Bollinger B4 Chassis Cab, with a retail price of $158,758, is qualified for federal clean vehicle tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act of $40,000 per vehicle. Additional state incentives can push total savings to an excess of $100,000.
