Prices increased in all regions, with New England experiencing the largest -- 5 cents to $2.871. The Midwest, rising 2.9 cents to $2.864, experienced the smallest. The cheapest diesel was in the Gulf Coast region at $2.849, despite a 3.9-cent rise. California remained the most expensive region at $3.015 after a 3.7-cent increase.
