SAF-Holland has named Carl Mesker vice-president-aftermarket (Americas). He has more than 22 years of heavy-duty transportation experience and most recently was director of product planning and market development for the firm's Aftermarket Business Unit.
Lite-Check has added Brad Andersen to its engineering team. An experienced electrical engineer with a MSEE from Washington State University, he brings design skills honed at Bell Laboratories, Hewlett-Packard, and Agilent Technologies.
Kinedyne Corporation has expanded its US-based sales force with these appointments: Todd Jenkins, sales engineer, a newly created position; Lisa Boyle, account executive for the government sector; and Gene “Buzz” Williams Jr, account executive for the Southeast region. Jenkins joined Kinedyne in 2004 as a manufacturing engineer. Boyle previously spent more than 15 years in sales-related positions, including a recent role as inside sales representative for Ancra International. Williams succeeds Terry O'Connor, who was promoted to Kinedyne's national accounts manager. Before joining the company, Williams was an account executive at USF Holland Inc.
Bustin has added Stephen Lukas its new Northeast sales manager. He served as vice-president of sales and director of sales for large multi-national organizations.
Mike Short, who previously served as a district sales manager with Accuride Corp, has been appointed its sales manager for national fleets. Mike Buggy, Mike Carroll, and Ray Fanti recently joined Accuride as district sales managers, located respectively in Wisconsin, Georgia, and Massachusetts. Buggy most recently served as parts manager with Alliance Trailer. Carroll previously served as national fleet manager for Webasto, and Fanti most recently was parts sales manager with Navistar.
Cummins has named Thad Ewald vice-president of corporate strategy and business development. He had been executive director for corporate strategy and business development and a member of Cummins' Operating Leadership Team. Ewald will continue reporting directly to Tom Linebarger, the firm's president and chief operating officer.
The Aftermarket Business Unit of Webb Wheel Products Inc has hired three industry veterans. Nate Nielsen, the new Southeast OES sales manager, joins Webb after nearly 10 years with Paccar, most recently as district parts manager for Paccar Parts. Don Fritz, named Webb's Northeast OES sales manager, served previously as district parts manager for Mack Trucks/Volvo Trucks North America. Robert Lanshe, the new Midwest OES sales manager, most recently was district sales manager for Supreme Corporation managing Truck Body and Equipment Division sales.
