Ridewell partners with VDL division

Ridewell Suspensions, based in Springfield MO, has formed a strategic partnership with Europe's Weweler Nederland, a division of VDL.
This partnership is offering an electronically controlled, forced-steer auxiliary axle suspension system that features:
Hydraulic steering with electronic control.
Programmable electronic control unit that senses vehicle speed and front axle steer angle to precisely control steer angle of auxiliary.
Electronic control unit to ensure a centered hydraulic/mechanical lock at higher vehicle speed.
Custom-formed axle beam to provide optimal clearance.
Compatibility with steel and air suspended drive axles.
Truck and trailer applications.
Pusher and tag configurations.
Axle load capacities up to 20,000 pounds.
The system is also available with these options:
- Integrated axle lifting systems.
- Custom track axles.
- Disc and drum brakes — 17½", 19½" and 22½".
- Single- and dual-wheel configurations.
- Custom drops up to 12.4" in formed axle beams.
