Hendrickson refines aftermarket structure

Oct 1, 2004 12:00 PM

Hendrickson International has streamlined its aftermarket marketing structure to enhance efficiency and simplify access to parts and service information.

Two major elements contribute to this customer-friendly initiative: a new aftermarket section on the Hendrickson web site (www.hendrickson-intl.com) and bumper and lift axle configurator tools available on the web site.

On the Hendrickson web site, click the “Aftermarket” menu item on the top navigation bar of the home page to access new features. These include on-line lift axle and bumper configurators, tech tips, a “Did You Know” section and electronic parts lists with product images hot-linked to part numbers, and a shopping basket to facilitate part orders.

With the bumper configurator, customers create their own bumper by selecting bumper material, vehicle make and model, and bumper style to develop their part number. The bumper can then be ordered through the OEM dealer of their choice.

To configure a lift axle, customers answer a series of questions outlining their lift axle needs to create a part number that represents the required configuration. The lift axle can then be ordered through the OEM dealer or distributor of their choice.
