Bludot's cake sports 30 candles in 2005

Bludot Inc, South Bend IN-based supplier of custom prepackaged trailer brake systems for original equipment manufacturers, is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2005.
The company provides a diverse array of trailer brake systems designed to meet the specifications of a range of trailer products and manufacturing budgets for trailer manufacturers, assemblers, and maintenance facilities. Each system is engineered using quality custom fabrication and pre-assembled components — the same standards Bludot has followed since the company was established in 1975.
Family-owned, this second-generation company got its start 30 years ago by supplying brake lines to Midwestern automotive and RV manufacturers. It soon shifted from supplying general trailer brake parts to creating and pre-packaging customized trailer braking systems to suit individual OEM assembly and manufacturing lines. In 1999, Bludot constructed a new 18,000-square-foot facility in South Bend.
