ArvinMeritor web site wins

The Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) Information Services Council board of governors announced that ArvinMeritor's XpresswayPlus.com web site has been selected as winner of the Aftermarket Web Challenge (AWC).
Introduced by ArvinMeritor in March 2001, XpresswayPlus.com is an ordering system that makes it easy for warehouse distributors, OEMs, and dealers to order aftermarket repair parts domestically and internationally. It also offers the ArvinMeritor parts catalog, in-depth technical information, enlarged views of products and assemblies for truck-related parts and components, and real-time pricing and availability information. The site can check the status of existing orders and track unsubmitted orders for future retrieval. It also offers direct links to all carriers for instant routing and tracking information and a direct link to the printable invoice.
In its first five months, weekly site traffic increased from 49 to 1,164 visits, and weekly orders increased from 18 to 162.
