ArvinMeritor Inc announced that Matthew Stevenson has been appointed director of marketing for the company's Truck business unit, and director for the joint venture Meritor WABCO Vehicle Control Systems. He most recently served as director of the Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) light commercial vehicle group. ArvinMeritor also has named John Nelligan as Canadian regional director-North American field operations and Rick Decaire as Eastern regional sales director for the Aftermarket business. Nelligan joined ArvinMeritor earlier in 2010 as a director of the Specialty business unit. Decaire was most recently Eastern area director for the Northeast and eastern Canada region.
TODCO President Dan Rengert has retired effective May 31, 2010, after 44-plus years of service to the company and the trucking industry. Rengert's career with TODCO began in 1965 as an order writer. He was named president September 1, 1992.
Phillips Industries has promoted Ron Alvarez to OEM/OES and international sales manager. He joined Phillips in 2008 as OES and international sales manager from DENSO Sales California Inc, where he held a variety of sales and product management positions.
