Toyo Tires announces price increase in commercial truck products

Mar 24, 2006 10:50 AM

Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corporation announced a price increase on both commercial truck and off-the-road tires effective April 1. This will result in a 5% increase to dealers on all commercial truck tires (truck and bus), and a 7% increase to dealers on off-the-road tires.

According to Steve Weinger, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corporation, "Toyo Tires has made every effort to maintain stability in our product pricing for this market. However, escalating costs of raw materials as well as transportation costs has dictated this price increase.”
